Why did the paper drop recurrence?
Tutor Section 3.2 calls it “scaled dot-product attention”. Want the intuition first, or the math?
Bring anything
Paste a link. Captions come in fast; videos without them are transcribed on your Mac.
Saved as the page looked, so it still reads offline. Multi-chapter docs come in whole.
arXiv, PubMed, DOIs or any PDF. Find new ones in Discover, then study them in a tap.
Record the board or just the audio on your iPhone and send it to your Mac.
Markdown, text, Jupyter notebooks and books with chapters.
Your library
Papers, videos, articles and lectures sit side by side, each with its own study pack.
From reading to sharing
Most study apps stop at the flashcards. Owlish takes you all the way to something you can share.
Summaries, cards, quizzes, mock tests and a tutor, made from what you added.

Whiteboard
Draw diagrams, arrows and boxes on a whiteboard next to the video or paper. Each item keeps its own boards, so your sketches are there next time.
Summary
Every pack opens with a clear summary, then notes and key terms, so you know what matters before you dig in.
Practice
Flashcards made from your material. Flip, mark what you know, and come back to the rest.
Learn
Slides
Describe the talk or pick your material, edit the outline, and get a styled deck with speaker notes. Export it to PDF or an editable PowerPoint whenever you like.
Present
Studio
Start from a paper, a PDF, a link, your own notes or a study pack. Studio plans the story and makes it:
Atlas
A map of everything you’ve studied: papers, playlists, your drafts and notes, and the links between them. Spot the threads you keep coming back to.
Discover
Search arXiv, Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex and more in one place, or browse what’s trending. One click adds a paper to your library.
Calendar
Put study sessions and deadlines on the calendar, and see what you actually worked on each day. It all stays on your Mac, with no calendar permissions needed.
Make it yours
Skills are plain instructions for each AI feature: how study packs are written, how the tutor teaches, your voice in drafts, the look of your slides. Write your own, or import a SKILL.md you already use.
On your iPhone
Read, flip cards and take quizzes offline. Record a lecture, ask the tutor, send links to your Mac, and run your slides from your pocket.
Publish
No account and no tracking. Your library stays on your devices. Use Apple Intelligence on device, or your own key with a provider you choose. Owlish asks before anything is sent.
